Senior Automation Specialist Integrated Discovery Technologies Department As a member of the Integrated Discovery Technologies department, your primary duties will include designing, improving and executing automated work streams of biological assays. You will have responsibility for maintaining automation equipment and for the introduction and adaptation of new screening technologies. In addition, you will assist in assay transfer to automation, write automation protocols, and use software tools for data entry, validation, and reporting.

Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Biology including extensive experience with automated systems. You will have demonstrated the capability to develop biochemical or cell-based assays and can identify and solve significant problems with automation equipment and automated assays.

Additional qualifications include the ability to work independently and in a team environment, optimize utilization of automation in a dynamic discovery environment, communicate effectively across disciplines, and lead and/or influence project team members to accomplish objectives.
