Working for this specialist software provider you will support a variety of users across the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry. Today’s Drug Discovery process requires automatic control of robotics, compound filtering, reliable interface with liquid handlers, thorough audit trails, versatile and scalable software that offers effective workflow management and reliable data storage to avoid errors in the sample preparation and data handling process. This is your chance to act as Product Specialist / Application Consultant to a popular software suite that addresses all these crucial areas offering scalability to cope with increasing throughputs and demand for improved sample conservation.

You will be involved in full life cycle work from requirements analysis through implementation and final customer relationship support and user training. Project management, customer liaison, configuration, installation, demonstration, technical escalation and providing feedback to the development team for future modifications and improvements will all be your responsibility.

You should have a strong technical / life science background and understanding of workflow / process or data management software. Chemistry, Biochemistry and or IT qualifications and relevant hands on experience are, of course, highly advantageous. However the ideal candidate will also have experience in a pharmaceutical, drug discovery environment together with scientific and business acumen to manage major client accounts across Europe and in the USA. Based in London you will need to travel and work face to face with customers on a regular basis in addition to keeping up with the latest trends in discovery technology and information management systems.

Salary : - £35,000 - £50,000 depending upon experience
