Join a specialist science and technology team of experts, involved in a number of diverse industry areas helping commercial clients invent, develop ideas and concepts for innovative new products and devices. You will find yourself consulting with leading designers, chemical engineers and physicists around the world who are passionate about turning their research into real world solutions that change the way we live.

You will need to work closely with a variety of chemists advising them on all manner of issues from stability and usability through to process and manufacture. As a creative problem solver you will have the chance to demonstrate your ability to design and formulate imaginative and chemically reliable solutions in addition to applying your expertise and experience in materials science and physical chemistry.

Commercial acumen, project management and business development skills are essential due to the nature and commercialisation potential of many of these state of the art technological inventions, which are backed by major corporate companies and leading research laboratories across Europe, China and USA. You will have the ability to build relationships, manage business and develop relationships.

Ideally you should have industrial or prototype development experience and a recognised qualification in materials or physical chemistry. A good understanding of engineering and an ability to translate complex ideas into non techno-speak will be a distinct advantage.
