POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available immediately to study the changes in the quantitative pattern of proteins associated with ageing. Methods of research include Multiple Reaction Monitoring on the QTRAP mass spectrometer, stable isotope labeling for relative quantification on the MALDI mass spectrometer, and hydrogen-deuterium exchange for protein dynamics on the Q-TOF mass spectrometer. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a Ph.D. and experience in biochemical and/or molecular biology methods. No experience with mass spectrometry is necessary, but willingness to master mass spectrometry is expected.
