Pharmaceutical Production Project / Client Manager

As the Pharmaceutical Production Project / Client Manager you will join the Agilent Technologies Life Science Chemical Analysis Team assisting in the management of contract GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and associated services. This includes creating proposals and building effective client relationships. You will determine and develop approaches to assignments, lead projects in conjunction with other functions and customers and deliver creative solutions in a wide range of situations.

Position description/requirements:
- Aide in business development by informing prospective clients of our manufacturing, development and analytical capabilities
- Gather custom project requirements / specifications from clients while building good business relationships
- Prepare extensive cost models and generate substantial project proposals based upon calculation model and current market analysis
- Determine resource requirements and allocate discrete project goals amongst the departments required for the projects
- Excel at client services, regularly reporting to client and internal staff on project progress, with frequent client and internal meetings
- Create and maintain budget forecast and actual account figures, as related to projects
- Excellent at performing as a team player, contributing wherever needed
- Ability to maintain several client projects, multi-tasking as required

Qualifications : Requires:
- BS/MS degree in chemistry/biology or equivalent
- 2 + years experience using solutions-oriented approach and customer focus to drive business goals within a pharmaceutical development, chemistry and/or DNA/RNA analytical production environment
- Knowledge of cGMP regulatory standards/filing highly desired
- Excellent communication skills and team player
- Track record of success in leading and driving projects within a cross functional global team
- Available for occasional business travel
