Your responsibilities

• Support of clinical trials and exploratory research in the field of Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics (PGx), e.g. through consultation, data base mining and data analysis
• Analyses of genetic information or data generated by the PGx-laboratorie
Provision of relevant pharmacogenetic information to support the planning of new clinical trials support of various PGx software solutions (LIMS, data protection system etc.)
• Development and implementation of a concept to store and analyse PGx data
• Close interaction between all relevant functions in research, development, medicine and IT

Your profile

Potential candidates will have a PhD with a strong scientific background in bioinformatics, genetics, molecular biology or IT together with experience in pharmacogenomics/pharmacogenetics software and databases. Good statistical knowledge (e.g. SAS) is required.

Indispensable personal qualities required for this position include being open to new challenges and taking pleasure in both target and strategy oriented work. Highly motivated individuals recognizing the importance of teamwork in a multidisciplinary field will be given top consideration.

Excellent communication skills and fluent English make you a perfect candidate for this position. Knowledge of the German language is not a prerequisite for successful application.
