Syrris has revealed that it is now doubling its sales force for its new flow chemistry (FRX) and atlas synthesis systems. Since the launch of the FRX and atlas in late 2006, Syrris has delivered systems to major pharma companies and academic institutions throughout Europe and the US.
Commenting on the news Syrris’s Commercial Director, Richard Gray said “We are extremely pleased with the interest in these products so far. I think the key to their success has been their flexibility and simplicity. They are designed to accommodate a broad spectrum of applications and needs within the chemistry laboratory, and can be scaled up as requirements change. The systems overcome present day challenges such as process repeatability and laboratory efficiency, whilst remaining incredibly easy to use.”
According to Company, both the FRX and atlas are modular, allowing chemists to select the system that best suits their individual needs. The FRX is a flow chemistry system available in four models, covering a range of functionalities. The atlas system was developed as a highly modular multipurpose synthesis tool.
The atlas can offer an automated solution for a variety of applications including heating, stirring, cooling and automated reagent addition. Additionally, the atlas can be used as a stand-alone unit, connected in parallel or with PC control.
