In the research group of Prof. Wolfgang Lindner at the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Food Chemistry, University of Vienna, a Ph.D. Position for the research topic "Development of selective bioaffinity ligands and materials for addressing post-translational modifications qualitatively and quantitatively" is available immediately.
Work will be being carried out within the Austrian Proteomics Platform (APP), an interuniversity and interdisciplinary research network, part of the Austrian Genome Research initiative, GEN-AU (www.gen-au.at).
- Proficiency in Analytical and / or Organic Chemistry with particular focus on the development and characterization of functionalized materials and bioanalytics (HPLC, mass spectrometry)
- Interest in working in an interdisciplinary research area (chemistry, medicine, biology)
- Good command of English Funding is secured for a period of 2.5 years according to the guidelines of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF).
