MarsXpress High Throughput Microwave Digestion System

Options: Print

CEM has announced the launch of MarsXpress™ System, designed to make high throughput sample preparation and research applications quick and easy.

According to CEM, the system can process up to 40 samples simultaneously and provides advanced temperature control by a dual IR sensor and self regulating pressure control by a proprietary vessel design. The control sensors of MarsXpress are non contact and do not require any cable connections to be made.

MarsXpress is designed to constantly monitor the digestion conditions in each vessel and automatically adjust the power output to provide rapid and reproducible results and information on the final digestion temperature of each vessel is availbale for output to a PC or printer.

The MarsXpress incorporates a revolutionary vessel design, maximizing the digestion temperature and minimizing vapor pressure.

The cooling rate after digestion has been increased by 60% compared to traditional microwave digestion vessels, allowing a faster sample turnaround and throughput.

Applications of the MarsXpress include digestion, solvent extraction and hydrolysis.
