|Dear Mr Browne,
We are pleased to announce details of the new Personal Solvent Evaporator from Genevac
Safe and effective solvent removal is a problem faced by all synthetic chemists. Frequently a bottle neck in the parallel synthesis laboratory, Genevac has recognised the problem and developed a brand new concept instrument to help solve it - the EZ-2 Personal Evaporator. Designed to be compact, reliable and easy to use, the EZ-2 resulted from detailed questioning of more than 100 scientists worldwide on their preferences for a new solvent removal unit for personal use in the lab.
Small enough to fit in a standard fume hood or to sit on the end of a bench, the compact EZ-2 is still capable of handling two 500ml flasks or two racks of 160mm tubes with ease. Switch to deep-well microtitreplates and the new EZ-2 will accept 4 simultaneously. With a fully self-contained evaporation chamber, condenser and pump in a single unit, the EZ-2 needs about the same space as a conventional rotary evaporator. The simplified controls and built in Dri-PureTM technology as standard, allow efficient evaporation of even the most difficult samples. Pre-programmed settings for solvent mixtures such as HPLC fractions and other high & low boiling point solvents make it very easy to use.
US scientists can get a sneak preview of the system at Pittcon in New Orleans, LA starting March 17th and again at the ACS Spring Convention in Orlando, FL from April 8th - 10th
Genevac will be unveiling the all-new EZ-2 system at Drug Discovery Technology Europe in Stuttgart and Analytica in Munich, both during April..
