How important is the weighing throughput to the average weighing application in pharma r&D;?

any comments would be welcomed.

Harry, the market is definitely changing away from big numbers. So my guess is that most people are going to be looking at Accuracy and precision of the weights as a first priority, flexibility of formats and materials handling as a second priority, and throughput as the third priority. You really can't have true throughput until you meet the first two criteria (otherwise you'll be going back and checking/correcting things manually).
